The annual TechPlus event took place from the 6th to the 8th of July 2017. The program was held at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island Lagos. TechPlus is an innovative program that deals with the helping entrepreneurs, content creators, gamers and ideators to network, boost and promote their various brands through the application of technological advancement.
Just like last year, participants could choose the seminars that are more relevant to his or her field. The various fields of study that TechPlus offered ranged from Government and Public Administration to Mass Communication and Media Development. The diversity of the fields of study that TechPlus offered ensured that there was a seminar or class that each person could relate to. The conference brought in giants in various fields of study and allowed the participants and provided a platform of interaction between the participants and the speakers. TechPlus 2017 speakers included: Iyin Aboyeji, Jade Adedeji, Kola Aina, Dele Tojuoso, Frederick Udoaka and loads of more mavins.
The conference wasn’t all work and no play though. There was an interesting gaming section where participants played against one another in a variety of games such as “Call of Duty”, “FIFA”, “Mortal Kombat” etc. The gamers were setup in different groups and played against each other till there was a champion.
The gaming section generated an exciting atmosphere. There was also a childcare section, for those that brought their children to the conference. TechPlus 2017 was an amazing experience and not less is expected from a conference that had the amount of sponsorship that TechPlus had. Some of the conference’s sponsors included giants such as UBA, Samsung, Lenovo, NBC, HP, Jumia, etc.
There were various booths for the sponsors to interact with the participants. The TechPlus 2017 was a very well organized and magnificent event, and incase you were unable to attend the event this year, do not despair! The event is an annual one so catch it next year but just be sure to carry a jacket or sweater along because their air conditioning is always on deep freezer levels.
