Good day Crown Nation.
How’s you? How’s your mommy? How’s your daddy? I don’t know why I’m speaking in Jenifa either, don’t mind me. I think it’s because the week is finally coming to an end and I won’t have to wear cooperate to work tomorrow.
Whatever it is, Baba Crown is in a good mood.
Yesterday had to be one of the busiest days I’ve had since I began my internship. In that same vein, it also had to be one of the coolest. I initially went to visit my dad at his office in Onikan. After the visit, I began the long and exhaustive search for Wheatbaker Hotel for a presser for The Voice Nigeria. After a long walk in the hot sun asking for directions, I finally got on an Okada to the event.
I have to confess that all the stress was definitely worth it! I got to interview A’rese Emokpae, Waje and Timi Dakolo. They were all so poised and down to earth. The event was all nice and dandy but the only awkward part was the fact that some press people kept bringing up the fact that the show was shot in South Africa. I have to admit I was quite disheartened to learn that The Voice Nigeria was shot in South Africa. There must be some type of technical reason and not a shady one, I hope. There was a beautiful ole lunch served after the major event.
Its starting to dawn on me that I only have three weeks left for my internship. I can’t believe it but it’ll soon be over. Take a second to appreciate everything around you because nothing will last forever. One more thing, if you haven’t downloaded my new song, All Roads, you can get it here. Till our next adventure, keep your crowns up.
