It might only have taken forever and a year but Baba Crown’s Chronicles and The Lagos Logs are making their comeback together in one post. I’ve created this new system and I have faith that this one will work and my consistency will be on fleek. Can I get an Amen?
There’s honestly no better way of making a triumphant return than writing about a truly original and creative event? (See what I did there). I attended Seye Kehinde’s debut photography exhibition ‘Becoming Art’, which took place on Sunday 10, June 2018 at City People Event Centre. I’m not going to sit here and pretend like I’m one Lagos cool kid but I did go dressed as one and hopefully I pulled it off.
Back to Seye, the exhibition was actually really lit. Apart from the fact that Seye’s photography pieces were all shades of artsy, there was a vibe that the event had that made it a lituation all its own. It wasn’t like your regular ol’ bougie exhibition with classical music playing in the background with people walking around with finger food. There was food involved but there was a DJ and she kept everyone’s feet tapping. You can check out some of Seye’s incredulous pieces below and if you’re moved to purchase, you can slide into his IG Dm @Theseyekehinde
